denken
"Denken" means to think — the mental process of reasoning. Used for: active thinking (Ich denke nach), thinking about someone (an jemanden denken), and careful consideration.
glauben
"Glauben" means to believe or think (opinion). Used for: opinions (Ich glaube, das stimmt), religious belief (an Gott glauben), and believing someone (jemandem glauben). Softer than denken for opinions.

For casual opinions/predictions, "glauben" is more natural. "Denken" works but sounds more analytical.
Ich glaube an dich. (meaning: I think about you)
Ich denke an dich. (I think about you) vs. Ich glaube an dich. (I believe in you)
"Denken an" = think about. "Glauben an" = believe in. Very different meanings!
Both are interchangeable for "I think".
They overlap but: "Ich denke" = rational conclusion. "Ich glaube" = feeling/belief.
"Ich denke, 2+2=4" (rational). "Ich glaube, morgen wird es schön" (feeling).
